Day 1 – Arrival in Kigali
Settle into Ubumwe Grande Hotel and rest before your mountain adventure.
Day 2 – Journey to Musanze
Drive through rolling hills to Musanze, visiting the Ellen DeGeneres Campus of the Dian Fossey
Gorilla Fund en route. Lunch, check in at Ingagi Lodge, then head into Volcanoes National Park for your first primate encounter, playful golden monkeys swinging through bamboo.
Day 3 – Mindfulness on Bisoke
A guided Bisoke Hike reveals crater lakes and quiet introspection. Visit Dian Fossey’s Tomb, where mountain winds whisper her legacy. Evening at leisure.
Day 4 – Gorillas & Twin Lakes
Your once-in-a-lifetime Gorilla Trek begins at dawn. After sharing the forest with these gentle
giants, lunch at the Twin Lakes pier before dinner in Musanze.
Day 5 – River Safari & Return
Glide along the Mukungwa River on a peaceful canoe safari, then journey back to Kigali with a heart full of wonder.
